Edwardsville is proud to once again boast of a revived and renovated Wildey Theatre. A downtown landmark and a famous feature of Edwardsville’s Main Street, the newly reopened theatre (April 2011) is available for private, social and corporate event rentals. The 100+ year old venue now shines, providing state-of-the-art audio, lighting and projection systems in a beautifully renovated space touched by Art Deco style and contemporary comforts. The theatre seats 325, and there is ample event space on stage and in the re-configured lobbies.

The Wildey Theatre features two special event spaces - The Marquee Room on the second floor and a larger space on the 3rd floor, both accessiblle via elevator and stairs. The private entrance is located between the theatre's main entrance and Edwardsville Frozen Foods, labled Wildey Theatre Business Office. The Marquee Room is 40' x31' and offers restored original maple hardwood floors, tall windows and exposed brick (see attached photos) The space will accommodate 75 people for a seated meal or about 100 for an open house reception.

The 3rd Floor is 45'x45' with wooden floors, exposed brick walls and a beautiful dome in the ceiling. The space will accommodate 130 for a seated meal or 175-200 for an open house reception. Available tables and chairs are 72" rounds (seat 8-9), 32" high tops for standing and 8' and 6' rectangular tables which are included in the rental price.
