Edwardsville is proud to once again boast of a revived and renovated Wildey Theatre. A downtown landmark and a famous feature of Edwardsville’s Main Street, the newly reopened theatre (April 2011) is available for private, social and corporate event rentals. The 100+ year old venue now shines, providing state-of-the-art audio, lighting and projection systems in a beautifully renovated space touched by Art Deco style and contemporary comforts. The theatre seats 325, and there is ample event space on stage and in the re-configured lobbies. Catering space is available beneath the stage, accessible via a newly-installed elevator.

The Wildey Theatre now features a newly renovated special event space - The Marquee Room is located on the second floor of the Wildey, and is accessiblle via elevator and stairs. located in the new elevator tower. The private entrance is located between the theatre's main entrance and Edwardsville Frozen Foods, labled Wildey Theatre Business Office. The Marquee Room is 40' x31' and offers restored original maple hardwood floors, tall windows and exposed brick (see attached photos) The space will accomodate 100 people at 72" rounds of ten or 125-150 for receptions. Tables and chairs are available for rent.
