Dammer Sextet coming to Wildey in Edwardsville

The Wildey Theatre will present the swinging Gary Dammer Sextet in a live Coffee Concert on Thursday, Jan. 12, at 10:30 a.m. In addition to serving coffee, doughnuts and pastries, the theater will allow guests to come on stage and dance to classic tunes from Glenn Miller, the Dorsey Brothers, Duke Ellington and others.

Dammer is an Edwardsville resident and trumpeter who leads groups from smaller combos to full orchestras. Doors will open at 9:30 a.m. for the coffee and doughnut service.

Tickets for the concert, coffee and doughnuts are $8 and are available at wildeytheatre.com or by calling 618-307-1750. Tickets also may be purchased at the Wildey's business office on the second floor or at the theatre's ticket booth one hour prior to the performance.
